Allot

Welcome to Allot

Allot splits every deposit you make across your bills, debt, savings, and spending β€” automatically. Set it up once, then just enter your deposit and post.

🏦

Your 4 Accounts

Every deposit is divided into 4 buckets β€” Bills, Debt, Savings, and Spending. Each gets a percentage of what you bring in, every time.

Bills β€” Fixed monthly expenses: rent, car, insurance, phone. Funded in priority order so your most important bills are always covered first.
Debt β€” Minimum payments first, then extra money attacks your highest-cost balances hardest.
Savings β€” Builds your financial cushion automatically, deposit after deposit.
Spending β€” What's left for you to use freely, guilt-free. No tracking required.

The Split

Pick a profile that fits your situation. Your deposit is divided by these percentages every time you post β€” no manual math needed.

Default β€” 85% Bills / 5% Debt / 5% Savings / 5% Spending. A solid starting point for most people.
Conservative β€” 80% Bills / 10% Debt / 5% Savings / 5% Spending. Pushes harder on debt payoff.
Survival β€” 95% Bills / 2% Debt / 2% Savings / 1% Spending. For tight months when bills have to come first.
Custom β€” Set your own percentages. Must add up to 100%. Use the Allot tab to configure.

How Bills Are Funded

Your Bills pool funds bills from top to bottom. The bills at the top of your list get funded first β€” put your most critical bills there.

Your Bills allocation is split into two sub-pools:
Fixed Bills (80%) β€” Rent, car, insurance. Funded in row order until the pool runs out.
Living Expenses (20%) β€” Food, gas, groceries. Funded after fixed bills.
Each deposit picks up where the last left off. If rent wasn't fully covered last time, it gets priority again this deposit. Bills you've already paid this month are automatically skipped β€” their allocation targets next month instead.

How Debt Gets Paid

Minimum payments are always covered first. Any extra money then targets your most expensive, largest debts hardest.

Pass 1 β€” Minimums: Every debt gets its minimum payment before a single dollar of extra money moves. If the pool can't cover all minimums, it distributes proportionally β€” no debt gets skipped entirely.
Pass 2 β€” Extra: Leftover funds are weighted by APR Γ— √balance. High-interest AND high-balance debts get the most β€” without letting smaller debts be completely ignored.
Example: A card at 29% APR with a $3,300 balance scores much higher than one at 14% APR with a $1,400 balance β€” so it receives a larger share of the extra pool each deposit.
